Mothers' and Toddlers' Group

The Mothers' and Toddlers' Group caters for babies and children under school age with accompanying adults.

There is a wide selection of toys to encourage physical, mental and social development in a safe and happy environment.

The group meets on Tuesday afternoons from 13.30 to 15.15. during term time. These times were organised to fit in with a group of mothers who wanted to attend with their young children and still be in time to meet with the older ones from schools.

Each toddler is given a drink and a biscuit, and the adults appreciate cups of tea. There is a weekly charge of 50p per family.  

At Christmas there is always a party with a visit from Father Christmas. Every session concludes with action songs and rhymes - the 'Hokey-Cokey' is favourite for finishing!
