    Welcome

to the website of Epsom United Reformed Church.
To start with, visit our links to see how we work and worship, to read our weekly diary and Newsletter, and how to contact us.  Through these pages we hope you will find plenty to interest you - and maybe to help you, too.

The Church is, in essence, the body of God's people that meets in the name of Jesus Christ for worship and to serve God by serving the people around us. On these pages you will find some of the ways in which worship is expressed, what it means to be a member of this community and some of the things we do in service of the wider community.

    Any comments, please, to Webmaster.

    Alan's Health Log - Update
As you may have read, on 17th April 2008 I had my appendix removed.
Unfortunately, during the biopsy a lymphoma was detected; further tests showed other instances of cancerous lymph cells, as a result of which I underwent a full course of chemotherapy.
I wrote a log to keep interested people informed as to my progress. If you would like to read this and catch up on what's going on, please see Alan's Health Log on the News Pages.
The good news is that one year after stopping the chemo-therapy, with a wonderful verdict of 'Complete Remission', progress is such that my regular checks at Epsom General Hospital, which were every ten weeks, have gone to every fourteen weeks, so the future is very rosy.  So I will formalise the fact that it has been a long time since I last updated the log by saying that there will be no further additions to it

I would like to thank everybody for their support and prayers for me and the family during the past eighteen months.  I know it helped.
