Phemie has been this week into the Marsden Hospital in Sutton for a consultation as to her further course of treatment. Sheila Carpenter is making a recovery, but doesn’t want to be rushed! We thank her for playing the piano this morning, for a hymn not on the CDs. We are concerned for Phyl Cary, and hope that she will soon respond to the treatment. Alan says that if the NewsLetter is out on time, he must be getting on OK! Doris Swan has now finished her physiotherapy and is making progress. Top Vaughan has been suffering from a bout of gout in one foot—we hope it is more comfortable. We keep Dorothy and Frank, Marjorie, Mary and Sonia in our thoughts and prayers. Peggy Smith will be 97 on the last day of July and we send her our good wishes. We were very pleased to have Lynne with us on Sunday, and again at Cherkley Court, with Judith and their carers, Sue and Claire. We are pleased to have received news from Liz Crocker—see below for her letter. We send her our best wishes. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Liz Crocker has recently written with the following news: As some of you will know I moved to Gloucestershire in October with a job promotion within South Gloucestershire Council which has worked out extremely well. I rented a property for several months but am now about to move to my permanent residence. My new contact details will be: Arundel Villa, 4 Old Brookend, Berkeley, Gloucestershire GL13 9SQ Tel: 01453 511790 Mob: 07895 480653 E.Mail liz52crocker@btinternet.co.uk I am now in a new relationship and Ron Swanwick will be joining me in my move. He is a professional artist and has recently joined me having sold his home in Hertfordshire. We met some two and a half years ago when we were both visiting Bangladesh! So a new chapter begins for both of us. Naomi is now working in Harrods and is planning to move to London in September. Peter and Jo remain in Winchester. Amy is now two and a half and another child is expected in January. Very exciting for Granny! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
