12th Epsom Guides enjoyed a freestyle/disco dance session in November. The session was funded from the Sainsbury’s Active Kids Vouchers. The girls had a warm-up, and then the instructor, Kelly, helped them to put a routine together. The moves included robotics, slides, waves and turns to mention but a few. The final part of the dance routine was freestyle for two minutes.
Then the company, thirty guides, put all the parts together and performed their routine to my unit helper Marcia and myself. The session finished with a warm-down. The Guides really enjoyed the session and say a huge Thank You to all those who helped collect the vouchers. We now look forward to the next session at the end of January.
