It was a pleasure to have the Revd. Canon Adrian Esdaile talk to us for our November meeting. His topic was ‘Listening Prayer’, which his audience found most engaging. We were grateful to Pat as our pianist, as Sheila Stredwick was not available.
Now we look forward to December 18th when we have our Christmas Celebration. Each year Barbara, with help from Gwyneth, arranges a lovely afternoon of readings and carols on a different aspect relevant to Christmas. If any friends wish to join us at 2:30 p.m. in the Longhurst Room you will be most welcome. We close with afternoon tea.
We recess in January and February, and will be restarting on 26th March.
