The November Coffee morning for ‘Help the Heroes’ Campaign was most rewarding financially and gave us the opportunity to forward a cheque for £110 – a great effort. Thank you for your support.
Next Tuesday, 9th December, we are giving whatever we raise to the Shooting Star Hospice for Children, it being customary for us to choose a children’s charity in December. We are hoping to have some workers from the charity with us. We also have one or two items suitable for a raffle and we hope that this will achieve a really worthwhile total. Do please make every effort to spend a while with us on Tuesday. [Latest news: £175 was raised for the Shooting Star Hospice - Well Done, everybody! Ed.]
On 13th January we will be donating our proceeds to the Young Carers.
The WCC and friends will be decorating the Church on Saturday, 13th December, at 2 p.m.
