12th Epsom Brownie Guide Pack

Some new interest badges have been introduced for the Brownies, one of which is the Designer badge. The girls have had great fun designing various items including holiday outfits, posters advertising Brownies, badges and book covers, and have now all earned the Designer badge.

We were very pleased to welcome Betty Bloomfield and her dog, Sally to our meeting on 4th June. She came to tell the Brownies about Pets As Therapy and also told them about responsible pet ownership. The girls made quite a fuss of Sally and they all wanted to have a turn at walking her around the hall.

The Brownies each made a card for her father ready for Fathers’ Day and they each decorated a box shaped like a book as a present.

For a change we arranged to hold one evening in the Court Recreation Ground. Wednesday, 18th June was International Picnic Day, so we all took a picnic and the girls played games on what was a fine evening, though a little chilly. The girls were running about so much that they were not aware of the chill in the air!
