 It was lovely to welcome Allan Healey back to our Church on Sunday 22nd June and to hear him play our organ once again.
After the service, several of those of us who knew him well were kindly invited by Sheila Carpenter to have a buffet lunch with him at her home. Sheila had provided a delicious lunch and after photographs were taken in the garden, we were treated to a spontaneous concert with Allan Healey and Charles Senior taking turns at playing Sheila’s lovely ‘Wyvern’ organ.
It was a really lovely afternoon and we all thank Sheila for her kind hospitality and hope it will not be so long before we see Allan once again.
