 At our last meeting on 10th June, although a number of regular friends were unable to be with us, those who came brought items and also bought. Together with some generous donations the Parkinson’s Society received a cheque for £100.
The next Coffee Morning on Tuesday, 8th July, 10:30-12:00, will be for The Children’s Trust at Tadworth Court. We hope to see you there.
The first of the two events the WCC planned for the Church Development Fund took place on Saturday, 21st June. The Cream Tea, for those who came, was a very pleasant occasion but the attendance was disappointing. In addition to the Tea, there was a Cake and Preserves stall and a Raffle, and the total raised was £140.
We had planned to have our Summer Fayre in Unity Hall on Saturday, 5th July from 11:00 to 14:30. Unfortunately, due to circumstancecs beyond our control, event has had to be postponed, and we have not yet been able to arrange a new date. Please watch out for further information as it becomes available.
