From Kim Menagh

I just wanted to write and thank everyone for Kim cutting her caketheir kind wishes when I recently celebrated my 50th birthday.  Cards received at home on Friday 26 September, my actual birthday, were very much appreciated, but I had an even greater surprise at the end of the church service on Sunday 28th September - not only did I receive a lovely cake, but the organ began a rendition of `Happy Birthday` and a PowerPoint slide gave birthday wishes and highlighted my age!  I may have reached half a century [not out!], but am glad to say I still feel 21 - long may it last.

I had a great weekend celebrating my birthday with family and friends - how blessed we were with fine, warm weather which meant we could spill out into the garden as well.
Many thanks again for your kind thoughts and wishes,

Kim Menagh
