News of the Family

Joe Wilson is still in the Epsom Hospital under investigation, Friends talking
and Phyl Cary is still in Leatherhead Hospital. We do hope that
both are getting sorted out.

Sheila Carpenter was doing quite well, but has now sadly broken her wrist. Sheila, and we, are looking forward to October, when she should be back in circulation.

Doris Swan
is making good progress. It seems to have been a long time coming, but the news is encouraging.
We remember Margery, Mary, Sonia, Dorothy and Frank in our prayers.

Phemie
is continuing with her extensive and protracted treatment, and we hope she is feeling a bit better.

We understand that Pat’s mum has had an operation on her knee, and hope that things are going well with her.

George Smith
, who was due to go for a cataract operation this week, was found to have a detached retina, so his operation has been delayed while this is treated. How frustrating – we hope things don’t take too long, George.

Thoughts and sympathy are with Ceri, Daniel and Ben, Lynne and John in their sad loss of Susan. The memorial Service will be at Trinity Church, Wimbledon, on Saturday, 6th September, starting at 3 p.m.
