From the Royal Marsden website (for schoolchildren):
At The Royal Marsden, we specialise in treating people with cancer - 40,000 of them a year in fact. And as some of our patients are smaller than others we've got a special children's unit called The Wolfson Children and Adolescent Unit. It's a very special place and one of the largest children's units in the UK, seeing more then 300 young patients and families a year.
Today, 1 in 650 children develop cancer but thanks to places like The Wolfson Children and Adolescent Unit three-quarters of them are cured and go on to become wrinkly old grown-ups.
