Evening Fellowship

At the Evening Fellowship A.G.M on 1st June we were sorry to hear that Bettie would no longer be able to join us after being Treasurer for twenty-five years. In her absence she was warmly thanked for such long and loyal service.  Phyllis Thurston was giving up the Chairmanship because of home commitments, and she, too, received our thanks; we were glad that she would still be with us whenever possible.

As Daphne finds writing difficult, it was suggested that she should take the chair and that Gwyneth would stay as Secretary.   Valerie agreed to be Treasurer, at least temporarily; and all this was proposed, seconded and agreed by all.

As the Cherkley Court outing had been such a success, it was hoped to arrange an outing to Polesden Lacey on 22nd or 29th July.  Listen out for the notices!
