‘We All Now Greet You’ was sung at Pat and Peter’s Farewell Social in Unity Hall on 27th June. This is to be sung to the tune, ‘Thine Be The Glory’.

And we want to tell you that
We are very grateful for the
Things we’ve LEARNT OFF PAT!
We have all appreciated
Hospitality:
Lunch or supper at the Manse, or
Muffins with our tea.
We all now greet you…
Though we’ve tackled thorny issues,
After business done
You have made us laugh and see that
Meetings can still be fun!
We all now greet you…
There are people in the church whose
Needs you’ve understood,
And their lives have been transformed, so
Now they are feeling good.
We all now greet you…
Our two churches are much closer
Thanks to all your care,
Strengthened by co-operation
Might we the future share?
We all now greet you…
When we heard that you were leaving,
It was such a blow,
But we understand your reasons:
Time for you now to go!
So, Pat, we greet you
And we think of Peter too.
