12th Epsom Brownie Guide Pack
|
26th April was Bird Day and all our activities were based around birds. If you have been in Unity Hall lately you may have seen the collages of peacocks that each Six created using their hands as templates. The following week was National Bread Week and the girls had a great time sampling a variety of breads and finding out whence they came. This was followed by National Book Week and the Brownies brought in their favourite book and shared a few passages with us, and they illustrated their favourite story.
Nine of our girls went on Pack Holiday with 8th Epsom Brownies at Heyswood at the beginning of May and they all enjoyed themselves very much.
Anne Richardson came to our meeting on 20th May, and with the help of the Brownies she refurbished the troughs outside the front of the church, see below. The girls also decorated plant pots and planted sunflower seeds. At the end of the meeting three girls were enrolled.
