In the absence of Daphne, who is visiting her daughter Pam, this contribution is being written by Pat.  The last I heard, Pam was making good progress, and we do hope that continues. Best wishes to her and her family.
Now the birthday girls! Congratulations to Evelyn Beer who celebrated her 80th birthday last week, and to Pamela Galliers who celebrated her 70th birthday recently. Best wishes to both of you.
Sonia Bentzon has been in hospital. We hope that she is recovering well and will soon be back in Parkside Nursing Home in Banstead.
The flowers in the church last week were funded by Marjorie Thomson commemorating her wedding anniversary.
Evelyn Beer would like to express her thanks to the members of the church for their good wishes and the flowers she received on the occasion of her 80th birthday last week.
