The May Coffee Morning on Tuesday, 12th, was for ‘SAVI’, the Surrey Association for Visual Impairment. This local charity may not be familiar to some folks, but it does vital work. ‘SAVI’ is the major charity working solely in Surrey, exclusively for the benefit of visually-impaired people and those with a combined sight and hearing loss. This was the first time we had given our support to ‘SAVI’ and £100 was raised.
The next Coffee Morning will be on Tuesday, 9th June, and this month we are raising funds for the ‘Talking Newspapers’. If you want to know what they do, I am sure that Gwyneth would love to tell you all about it!
