We met on Thursday, 23rd April, for our ‘At Home’. Barbara Wood, in the chair, welcomed friends from  some of the local churches, and also Wendy Meech, our speaker.
After a short opening, Barbara introduced Wendy, who gave a most interesting and enlightening talk on a visit she and Michael made to Korea eight years ago. It was most exciting to hear from one who had been able to visit a country little known to many of us. It was indeed revealing.
A welcome and tempting afternoon tea was served before making our homeward way.
The next meeting, on Thursday, 28th May, will be the occasion of our AGM, after which we have a break until the new session in September.
