Easter Monday Walk

Thank you very much, Roland and John, for the very enjoyable walk on Easter Monday, in beautiful weather. Nineteen started out, walking from Ripley to the River Wey Navigation, and then along beside it to Pyrford Lock.

Six left us at lunch time to return directly back to the cars, while the rest of us continued on our way in a loop back to the canal.

Five more then returned directly to the cars (there was a playground next to it) and the remainder went a little further on to the ruins of Newark Priory. I think we all had a lovely day; with time to relax and chat.
