With the April Coffee Morning occurring the day following Easter Monday, a number of regular supporters were away; however, if not able to be present, they kindly remembered ‘The Brigitte Trust’ with their donations. We were pleased to welcome a representative from the Trust for the morning, and it was with great pleasure that we were able to make a donation of £130. Thanks to all who supported this effort.
The May Coffee Morning, on Tuesday 12th, will be for ‘SAVI’, the Surrey Association for Visual Impairment. This local charity may not be familiar to some people, but it does vital work. ‘SAVI’ is the major charity working solely in Surrey, exclusively for the benefit of visually-impaired people and those with a combined sight and hearing loss. This is the first time we have given our support to ‘SAVI’, so let’s make it a worthy effort by raising a generous donation.
