A Christmas Tree in Epsom?

Dear Church Secretary,

So that Epsom has a large Christinas tree in the market place, Parkinson's local branch has decided to sponsor a "Tree of Memories", and believe that they will be helped by traders and the public. They have taken this action because there has been no commercial sponsor, and it is believed that many small donations would cover the cost!

We all have a happy memory of previous Christmases as a child, or with family and friends. A memory of a holiday, a departed friend, a special event, a special birthday. During November and December we will seek small donations (or of course large where possible) together with memories. In this way it is hoped to decorate the Tree of Memories. The tree is already arranged, and we intend to hang memories on the tree, possibly in candle shapes (weatherproofed).

We need wide publicity and support. Please help us by a 'piece' in your next two monthly newsletters and with posters. which are now available

Please do support us in these ways,

Yours sincerely,

Norman Dallen
