Afternoon Fellowship

We met last Thursday for a ‘Members’ Afternoon’, together with a Bring-and-Buy Table. There were many contributions from both Epsom and Ewell friends – some had an amusing story to tell or an experience to relate, a favourite poem, a piano solo. It all made for a varied and enjoyable afternoon. The Bring-and-Buy Table offered a varied selection of items, the sale of which helped our funds. The November meeting will be on Thursday, 26th, when Valerie and Alan Wood will be presenting what I’m sure we will all find very interesting, a personal version of “Who Do You Think You Are?”. All I can say is that Valerie and Alan have been very busy recently working on the genealogy of Valerie’s family…. |
