I bring apologies from the window supplier on the delay in the repair of the window.
When the double-glazed unit was eventually taken away to the factory and opened up, it appeared that the glass was stained by the condensation, and could not be re-used. It is now proving very difficult to obtain glass of the size, thickness and tint of the original, to match the other windows.
However, the search is continuing – please be patient.
