To all these friends we send our love and prayers.
It was good to see Tom Lockett in church on 11th October. He has been doing very well, In the past few weeks Archie Paterson has had cataracts removed from both eyes. All seems to be going well, but it will be a few weeks before he is ready for new glasses. It was good to see Archie and Doris Swan with us at Ewell last Sunday. Their helper is able to bring them, and I know that they are pleased to be with us whenever possible.
Lynne is home again after a spell in Epsom Hospital, following another fall. May she now have a time to get adjusted, and we hope and pray that she can enjoy a more settled time at home. We think of Peggy and Joe Wilson, and keep in touch. Peggy misses being with us, but at present doesn’t feel able to come. They both send their love.
Phemie has had some treatment recently, and we hope she is feeling the benefit. We think of Top, and hope she feels she is ‘getting there’. I know she still has a degree of pain, but she is hopeful of being with us soon. Our loving concern goes to Marjorie Thomson and Frank Dobby. is experiencing pain and discomfort, and will be having surgery soon. We wish her well. Rosemary Holmes Happily, Pamela Galliers assures me that she is feeling very much better.
Michael Wood has recovered from a recent bout of Swine Flu, which brought on his very occasional And Alan Wood says that the doctors at Epsom Hospital are so pleased with the results of his regular checks that the time interval between checks is being extended from ten weeks to fourteen weeks. Do you remember when he was bald? It was only last year! |
recovering from his hip replacement operation, and we hope all continues to go well.
