It was with sadness that we heard of the death of Sonia Bentzon. Sonia had for some years been in care homes
has had a spell in the New Cottage Hospital following her operation, but was able to return home at the end of last week. May she now be free of pain and able to adjust to a more settled time at home.
is making progress despite a number of problems, but we hope we may hear that slowly she will feel stronger and that her convalescence will prove rewarding.
was in hospital last week for a few days for a hip operation. He was home at the end of the week and we hope his time of convalescence will go well.
To Marjorie, and to Frank Dobby, go our love and prayers. Frank has recently had a few days with his daughter Susan. We remember Peggy and Joe Wilson. Joe has managed a very short walk with Peggy on one or two days. Peggy isn’t able to be with us at present, but we think of them often and assure them of our love and concern.
has relatives over from New Zealand at present. She was looking forward to seeing them and we sincerely hope that the time spent together will be very rewarding.
Both Pam Galliers and Rosemary Holmes have had problems with considerable pain and discomfort. We hope that there is some improvement soon and that movement is easier. May all these dear friends know we uphold them in love and may they know the comfort of the ever-lasting arms of love. |
