Praying 24/7 for Epsom Churches

The 24/7 Prayer Week was held at St Barnabas’ Church from 12^th to 19^th September. Unfortunately, we did not receive a copy of the suggested time-table until just before the week started, and, therefore, we could not fill all our slots.

We want to thank Rosemary, Phyl and Marion for taking part.

I did say at the ‘Churches Together’ meeting on 15^th September that we were unhappy about our people being on their own in the night hours and very early mornings. Other church representatives then expressed similar concern, and this will be considered in future arrangements.

At the close of the meeting, Sue Bull (Chairman), said that the URC would have the prayers of all the churches while we were without a minister and had difficult decisions to make.
