12th Epsom Brownie Guide Pack
|
The Brownies celebrated ‘World Book Day’ by making their own alphabet picture books. For Mothering At our last meeting before Easter the girls made chocolate Easter eggs and nests and Easter cards and baskets. On 6th March some of the girls went snowdrop picking at ‘The Durdans’, I was very grateful for Lynn, our Unit Helper, being there, as she took over from me when I wasn’t well. Unfortunately, for the first time ever, no Brownies came to the Church Parade on Mothering Sunday, but the snowdrops raised £18 for the ‘Lest We Forget Association’, thanks to the morning congregation who are always very generous.
The Snowdrops collected by the Brownies at the Durdans I should like to draw your attention to the exhibition on 100 years of Guiding being held at Bourne Hall Museum from Sunday 28th March to Saturday 17th April. |
Sunday, each Brownie made a card and decorated a trinket box for her mother and on17th March they celebrated St. Patrick’s Day by making spiral snakes and colouring a rainbow at the end of which was a crock of gold, i.e. chocolate coins.
