Activity Day - "Fruits of the Earth"

Much to my disappointment, I had to miss this event this year, but Stan and I did manage to call in to Epsom URC for the part at the end when the children show their parents what they have been doing - and they certainly seemed to have enjoyed themselves!!

They couldn’t wait to show the crafts they’d made, (one of the favourites seemed to be the fruit kebabs); they played a game based on recycling to show we should care for our earth, (in fact Rosemary had trouble stopping them, they were having such fun!) and they sang us songs they’d learnt.

Then they made me cry by giving me a card they’d all signed, saying they’d missed me. Them missing me?! It was I who missed them!
