We wish Daphne our sincere condolences as her daughter Pam finally lost her dogged fight against a very long We also hope that Daphne is experiencing better health. It was with great sadness that we heard of the death of Lynne Lewis in December. Our thoughts are with her sons Ceri and John and grandsons Dan and Ben. Many friends gathered in the church on January 8th for a memorial service led by Nigel Uden, celebrating Lynne’s long life. We are pleased to hear that Doris Swan is home from hospital and send both her and Archie our good wishes. We send our sincere sympathy to Alfred on the death of his brother in Ghana. It was lovely to see the photographs Ann sent us of Marjorie, enjoying Christmas at the Beaumont; we remember her in our prayers. Rosemary is out of hospital and we hope to see her with us again soon with a new spring in her step. Joseph has now moved into a flat in Ashtead which he is sharing with two friends. We wish him well in his new home. Alan was told by the doctors at Epsom Hospital that the period of time between checks is now extended to four months, which is great news. We remember Joe and Peggy Wilson and Frank Dobby, we think of them often and assure them of our love and concern. We extend our thoughts and love to all those above, and also to any friends who are unwell or in any way troubled. We remember you all in our prayers. |
