June 2010

Joe is still in hospital and we hope for better news soon.

Archie and Doris are still going on, but we haven’t seen them at church recently.

Marjorie is still in the Beaumont home. We hear that Ann comes down regularly to see her and keeps in touch.

We hear that Frank Dobby has a daily carer, who looks after him very well, and we are pleased at this news.

Phemie had a great holiday in New Zealand, but had a bad turn on her return, from which she is recovering. It was good to see her in church on Sunday.

We extend our love and sympathy to Daphne on the death of Frank’s brother, Eric. Daphne says that she is now the last Dawe that she knows of..

...and a copy of Val's Volunteer Award Certificate - see her article on the Brownies this month.

And here is Joseph with some friends, in the garden of his flat in Ashtead.  W wish him well there.
