The Guides celebrated Thinking Day with a History of Guiding fun and games evening. The girls are now very good on w hy, what and when!!!!! The Guides also attended and took part in the Division Thinking Day celebrations at St. Martin’s Church. We also enjoyed a fluorescent evening. All the girls and adults had to wear as many items of fluorescent clothing as they could... the lights were turned off and our only light were the torches from those who had remembered to bring them!!!!!! The girls enjoyed a trail, a quiz and a game.
For Easter we had an egg-themed evening.
Since returning from the Easter break we have enjoyed some team games and a Chinese evening which included tasting green tea. We have also taken part in the Cheeky Monkey Challenge which raises funds for Children with Leukaemia and Guide funds. The challenge was to transfer 26 Smarties from one bowl to another using chopsticks, in a time of 2 minutes and 6 seconds. Go on, try it!
At the end of May the guides will be attending the Division Centenary camp.
