Afternoon Fellowship

The October meeting was a listed as a ‘Members’ Afternoon’ in the Fellowship programme, so no one knew what there would be. Most of the members brought an item or two to share with everyone. We were treated to some poetry, an account of the hazards of taking children abroad, a monologue from the Joyce Grenfell collection; music with Norman Wisdom and Joyce Grenfell; a few extracts from the book ‘A Box of Delights’ and some interesting phrases that you may find in a foreign phrase book, courtesy of Noel Coward. Although nobody knew what was coming, it was interesting that many of the items seemed to complement each other.

Our next meeting will be on 25^th November, and will feature Daphne Dawe, who has entitled her offering ‘Reflections’. We look forward to meeting you all again at 14:30.
