Women's Church Council

We have just observed Harvest.  Thank you for the floral gifts that looked so decorative last Sunday, and for friends who helped arrange the flowers.  We have subsequently shared the flowers and gifts brought by the Brownies with friends who couldn’t be with us and one of the local care home, which also received a parcel of foodstuffs.

We hope that the money given for aid to Pakistan following the devastating floods will be a really substantial sum.   Please see John for a Gift Aid envelope if you have not yet made your contribution.

A cheque for £150 was despatched to the Princess Alice Hospice as a result of the September Coffee morning.   Now make a date for our next Coffee Morning: Tuesday 12th October, 10:30-12:00 in the Longhurst Room when we ask you to support the WCC as they raise funds for cards and gifts for the many friends we remember at Christmastide.
