Ash Bin for Unity Hall

It has been noticed that, after various parties arranged by people hiring Unity Hall, there has often been a large number of cigarette ends left on the ground outside the door to Unity Hall foyer. Although this does mean that smoking is not taking place within the building, it is both unsightly and unhealthy for other users of Unity Hall.

An ash bin has been fixed conspicuously to the brick wall outside the door so that smokers can dispose of their cigarette ends safely and tidily, and the presence of the bin is being advertised in the contract papers that people get when they hire the hall. It is hoped that this will create a more pleasant environment for all users.
