Surrey Churches Bike Ride

This event will take place on Saturday, 11th September, and basically could be an all-day event! Walkers and cyclists get sponsored to visit as many churches as they can in the day, and the sponsorship money is split between the Surrey Churches Preservation Trust and the sponsored person’s own church. This also engenders communication between people of different churches, and it is helpful to the walkers and riders if there is somebody available at each church to hand out refreshments, sign attendance cards, etc. It is likely that some of our people will be preparing for the lunch to be held on the next day, Sunday, 12th September, but there may be an hour or so which is not covered.
