12th Epsom Brownie Guide Pack

For the first two weeks after half term the Brownies worked for their Artists badge. They learnt about primary colours and produced some very good works of art and thus earned the badge. Last week they had an evening of dressing up and they produced their own fairy tale. We also had two enrolments at the end of the meeting. The last two meetings in November the Brownies usually start getting ready for Christmas. They each made an Advent calendar at our last meeting and Gwyneth came along to tell the Brownies what she hopes will happen at the Toy Service. Several of the girls have volunteered to read or dress up, and we hope there will be several Brownies at the Toy Service on Sunday, 4th December along with their families. Our last meeting before Christmas will be on Wednesday, 7th December and we shall have a party in the Longhurst Room. As Epsom Station is still being refurbished and we have been unable to find an alternative venue, the Brownies will not be carol singing this year. We hope that some of the Brownies will take part in the Advent Workshop that is being arranged at Ewell U. R. C. on 17th December and several Brownies will be going to see the pantomime, Cinderella, at Epsom Playhouse in January. Our first meeting of 2012 will be on Wednesday, 11th January.
