We are sorry to report the recent death of Dr Marion Thomson. We send our love and sympathy to her family. We have no further details at this time.

Alan Wood’s operation to remove a carcinoma on his neck was completely successful and has healed well. He recently had a bout of bronchitis, and says he is OK now, but bemoans the huskiness of his voice (which is looked on as a good thing by his listeners!)

Judith Ellis has been at Church with her new carer, Fifi.

Daphne was not at church on Sunday and Gwyneth ‘phoned her on Monday evening; she is suffering from a pain in her back. We wish her well.

Heather has moved into the temporary ‘mini-manse’ at 40, Clandon Close, Stoneleigh. Her details are now on the front inside cover of the NewsLetter.

Phemie’s Thanksgiving Service on 12th November was attended by over sixty people and was appreciated by all who went. We thank Barbara Pearson for conducting the service and also all those who participated in it or helped with the arrangements. It was good to see Dave and Joan there, and also Ann Thomson and George and Sheila Smith.
