Roy Cadoux says "Thanks"
|
Dear members of Epsom, Ewell and Tolworth URCs We had a rather hectic week following the Ordination and Induction, with two activity days and the latter part of the week spent moving and settling into the mini-manse, so I'm sorry this is slightly delayed. No doubt Heather will be giving some more personal thanks, but on behalf of the family may I express our gratitude to you all. We have so much to be thankful for, but especially for your ongoing prayers, the warm welcomes we have received everywhere, and the generous gifts you have made to us. Sarah was delighted to receive her chocolates - clearly chosen with care - and I now have no excuse for not knowing all about the history of the three local areas. We are also of course very grateful to the team at Synod who enabled us to have a base in the area: we are fortunate to have the house in Clandon Close until the "maxi-manse" becomes available, and we're glad Heather's not spending so much time on the road. With every blessing as we move forward in the Lord's service. |
