Memories of Marjorie

Marjorie became a member of Epsom Congregational Church in 1932 aged 16. I first knew Marjorie in 2002 - photo by John Crocker
her in 1970 as a serving elder and a member of the choir and our representative on Epsom Churches Women’s World Day of Prayer Committee.

After retirement from her career in nursing she was able to be involved in other church organisations. She joined the WCC and served as secretary for almost 30 years and worked tirelessly. The Thursday Afternoon Fellowship, which then met weekly, she joined and gave many years of service as a committee member. Marjorie also represented the church on the Rheumatism Council and other organisations for people with special; needs. Hers was a dedicated life of service for others.
