POSSIBLE JOINT CHURCH OUTING

We have been discussing where we might go for a joint church outing, and the idea of hiring the Croquet Lawn at Polesden Lacy for an afternoon has been suggested. Many of our number are members of the National Trust but not all, and we wondered whether the extra cost to them involved in getting into the grounds would put people off (maximum charges - Gift aided - are £12 for house and gardens; £7.40 for gardens only).

Suggested dates are:

22nd June, Wednesday

25th June, Saturday

26th June, Sunday (Ewell’s ‘Hope 11’ and Epsom’s ‘Family Day) or

29th June, Wednesday

Of these, I’m afraid that I personally can only do Wednesday 29th but if you are interested, or would like to go on an outing but not a N.T. property, then please speak to me as soon as possible; so far only 3 or 4 people have.
