12th Epsom Guide Company

The Guide unit have been their usual busy selves again this term.

We started the new term with our Christmas Party. This had been delayed since December due to the snow. We had pizza and soft drinks. Secret Santa, Christmas cards and silly party games were all part of the enjoyment throughout the evening.

The Guides are also planning and running part of the evenings themselves, activities have included...Food tasting from around the world, inventing their own space creatures and practising various elements for their agility badge.

The Guides had a fantastic evening of Street Cheer. This is a combination of Street dancing and cheer leading!!! The evening was the last of our 2010 Sainsbury Active Kids vouchers sessions.

The Guides are now collecting the 2011 Sainsbury’s Active Kids sessions, if you go shopping or get your petrol from Sainsbury’s the guides would love to receive your vouchers. Please pass on to Valerie Wood who will pass onto me.

Girlguiding Epsom are helping to ‘man’ a tombola stall at the forthcoming Herald of Spring at Bourne Hall. Money raised form the stall will go towards the much needed funds to build a Lodge on our local campsite. So if you’re popping into the event please stop at our stall and support us.
