Lunch Club

Plate and cutlery

Yet another very enjoyable Lunch Club meeting was held in February; this time we were back at the Olde King’s Head, opposite St Martin’s. We have been there three times now – with three different chefs and staff and three totally different menus. But each visit has been good.

For our March meeting we thought about going to the Jolly Coopers in Wheeler’s Lane.  However, our scouts reported that it did not have the sort of menu to which we have become accustomed.  Instead, we are meeting at the Cricketers on Stamford Green Road.  Men us have gone out and meal orders have been received, and everything is in placew for another rousing meeting at 12:30 on 17th March.

We were last at the Cricketers on 13th November 2008.  I undersatand that it in the process of changing from Ember Inns to the Stonegate Pub Co., about which I know nothing, but for the time being the Ember Inns menu is still being used.
