Afternoon Fellowship

The April meeting of the Afternoon Fellowship is traditionally an ‘At Home’ when various groups are welcomed from local churches. Unfortunately very few of these were represented at this year’s meeting. Despite the lack of numbers the meeting welcomed Eileen Lawlor who proved to be a very interesting speaker, telling us about her time working as a teacher and about how Jesus was such an excellent teacher. We were very grateful to have Ruth Broder from the Baptist Church assisting at the piano, and the meeting finished with the serving of refreshments. Our next meeting, and the last one for this session will be our AGM, on 26th May at 14:30. At the end of the business, there will be a tea. We will meet again in September. Have a nice summer! |
