Christian Aid Week - 15th-21st May 2011

Apart from the street collections and the events that are being organised by the individual churches, we are again going to do a public street collection in Epsom town centre on Saturday 21st May 2011 between 10.00am and 4.00pm. In the past this has raised around £400.00 and isn’t a huge effort if lots of people get involved. The door-to-door street collections raises by far the most money, and it would be more beneficial to offer to do this, if you are willing. However, I know there are several people who would not be prepared to do the door-to-door collections but would shake a tin for an hour. So if you could offer to do an hour’s slot on the 21st May, I would be really grateful if you could contact me.
