News of the Family

People chattingDpris Swan  is now in a Nursing Home in Kingswood. Heather and Pamela have been able to visit. Archie is still at home with a carer and he has visited Doris once or twice. We remember them with our love and concern.

Joan and Dave Davies have been in Devon for the week with the family and we hope Joan is feeling stronger and that Dave has benefited from the break.

We haven’t any recent news of Marion Thomson; she is probably away from home with the family.

Phyllis Thurston is in considerable pain and as she is necessary for Evelyn and Jock in keeping things ticking over at Hessle Top, we hope she will soon have some relief. We remember the three of them.

It has been good to have Peggy with us at services and at meetings; we have appreciated her flower arranging skills.

Joy Morgan is getting on but doesn’t feel ready to be back with us or the Lunch Club yet.

Frank Dobby is at home with his carer and receiving much support from his two daughters Anne and Susan.
