Letter from the Elders

How quickly time seems to fly by, the summer holidays are over and the countryside is once again strikingly coloured in the rich yellow, golds and reds of autumn, and we are getting ready for Harvest, Remembrance Day and oSmile Train logof course, Christmas.

We are approaching a very exciting and busy time at Epsom U.R.C., with so much happening in the next few weeks. We shall be celebrating our Harvest Festival on 2nd October, and hope everyone will be very generous in their support for this year’s charity ‘Smile Train. ’The Harvest Lunch will follow the Joint service with Ewell on 16th October and members of Tolworth U.R.C. are also invited to join us for this.

The next great event will be the Ordination and Induction of Heather Cadoux on Saturday, 22nd October at Ewell U.R.C. We hope you will all try to attend so that we can give Heather a memorable welcome to her first ministry. Heather’s first service here at Epsom will be on 6th November, which just happens to be Epsom U.R.C.’s 323rd anniversary.

With great anticipation,

The Elders
