News of the Family

Doris Swan is still in hospital, and Archie is being well looked after by his carers.People chatting

We also remember Marion Thomson and Joy Morgan, whom we hope are still on the mend, and Frank Dobby, still going on with carers and family.

Gwyneth has had her cataract operation. Pippa says: Mum is okay after her cataract operation yesterday (Thursday). Now she has her new eye good for distance and not for reading which doesn't really match the one good for reading and not for distance, so a computer screen isn't easy! I am typing this and her Evening Fellowship item for her.

Congratulations to George and Sheila who have just celebrated their Golden Wedding. An article with their latest news is printed on page 7.

And a little bird has told me that Alan and Valerie celebrated their 34th Anniversary on 24th September!

And Marion Butler has recently told us that she will be on the move soon. She will be moving to a flat in Bristol, to be nearer the rest of the family. Marion came to Epsom in 1978 when Allan succeeded Del Lewis as our minister, so has been with us over thirty years. Best wishes, Marion, but we’ll miss you!
