Lunch Club

Lunch at the Woodman in July - Beryl and Archie's two grandchildren said that we behaved ourselves!

Only four people attended the August Lunch Club, on a Wednesday to suit various holiday arrangements, and which was held at the William Bourne: it was good to speak to all the other diners without changing seats!

However, we four did not consider that we could legislate for all the regular members by choosing a venue and date for the September meeting. Therefore, it’s up for grabs. We usually meet the third Thursday. In September the third Thursday is 15th (the date of the next Church Meeting)

And in our forty meetings we have patronised twenty-four different pubs!

I will therefore wait for the boldest of our members to come to me with their choice of venue and date—and that’ll be the one! OK?
